Addison's Old Anime Pages
It's sort of hard for me to remember now, but from around ninth grade through my graduation from high school, I was very firmly planted in the identity of "anime fan." In my defense, despite my pedantic and pretentious tendencies, I was verifiably on the lower ranks of geekdom - I went to anime conventions, but didn't run through the halls shooting people with Nerf guns while dressed up as Unnamed Warrior from episode 12 of Those Who Hunt Elves or whatever. Against my defense, there are these pages, crafted at the height of my anime interest and, arguably, of Umma's early popularity. So I was a geek, sue me. I'm not exactly embarassed about it now, but it's sort of weird to look back on. Even weirder, in a way, is the continued popularity (based on my hit statistics, which never lie) of these pages which are in my mind a barely-maintained backwater of this site. But far be it from me to shut 'em down. If you folks out there are still into these things, by all means, enjoy them. If you'd take the time to check out the rest of my site, that'd be awesome too. Please, no inquiries about updates to any of these sections, or maybe I will finally put them down like rabid dogs.

Evangelion Fanfiction - For a long time the most poular section of this website by an incredible longshot. And for a little while there, if I may so declare, it was the most complete Evangelion fanfic site on the net, if not the most easy to browse. Closed in a fit of frustration with the quality of the 'scene' long ago, and a vague attempt to reorganize it went nowhere. |

Anime Babes Page - Not quite as pitiful as it sounds, if only because its over-the-top stupidity is at least somewhat intentional. There is also an associated Links page, and the Almost Babes section, which basically makes no sense at all. |

Anime Hunk & Babe of the Month - Similar to the above, but designed to cash in on the then-current fad of "monthly" fan-art sites, for which the site maintainer would pick a subject each month, then wait for the drawings to pour in. Or in this case, trickle in. There are a lot of broken links here, I warn you. I'm kind of proud of the singular ugliness of the colors, though. |

Nausicaä of the Frost-Bitten Falls - Actually somewhat useful site with information on, and audio clips from, Warriors of the Wind, a very boring English-language rendition of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Time-travel tip for those visiting ancient Greece: the diaresis on that last "a" indicates that it's to be pronounced as a separate syllable, i.e. "Now-sick-uh-ah." |

Anime Con Photos - Atrociously scanned snapshots of people in anime character costumes at various Anime Weekend Atlanta events. |
