Episode 1 IC	Fire-Themed Hauling Race	Immunity Idol	Samburu
Episode 2 RC	Hauling	Survival Equipment	Samburu	The teams had to carry big heavy logs to a certain point, where they were used to make a sort of staircase up to the prize.  The Survival Equipment, in an interesting twist, was stuff left behind by the Survivors on Day 1 when they had to choose what to carry to camp.
Episode 2 IC	Gross Food Challenge	Immunity Idol	Samburu	The Gross Food was cow's blood, drained from a cow on the spot.  For the main round, the blood was consumed in one-on-one shots, mixed with milk.  In the tiebreaker round it was a bigger glass of pure blood.
Episode 3 RC	Rock Rolling	Food Supplies, Luxuries	Boran	The Luxuries here amount to shampoo, and the Food Supplies amount to a 100-gallon tank of water, which could constitute a worthy reward only on a season like this one.

Episode 4 IC	Hauling	Immunity Idol	Boran	Carrying heavy pieces of a hut from one place to another.  Interestingly, each tribe also had to select two people to be "architects" who noted what the huts were supposed to look like.  This obviously gives a boost to a weaker tribe.
Episode 5 RC	Tribal Swap	N/A	N/A	Each tribe picked three members to go on a "quest."  They met Jeff Probst in the middle of nowhere and were given new buffs, swapped on the spot to the other tribe.
Episode 5 RC	Herding	Still-Living Food Source	Boran
Episode 5 IC	Make The Picture	Immunity Idol	Samburu	A big jigsaw puzzle.  This challenge was thrown by at least some members of Boran.
Episode 6 RC	Survival Trivia	Big Feast	Samburu	To make the game more "exciting" the team stepped down a set of bleachers to indicate their progress.  Wheeeeeee.
Episode 6 IC	Practice Then Employ This Limited Skill	Immunity Idol	Boran	Flaming arrows!!!!

Episode 7 IC	Endurance	Immunity Necklace	Teresa	The Survivors held their right arms above their heads, attached to a rope such that if the arm moved too much, a bucket of water would dump onto the Survivor, signalling that they they were out of the game.
Episode 8 RC	Tiddly-Winks	Elaborate Trip	Ethan (shared w/ Lex)	The winner takes two goats to a village to barter for whatever they want (french fries, trinkets).
Episode 8 IC	Concentration	Immunity Necklace	Lex	Memorize the items Jeff shows you, then go find them in the surrounding area.  Yawn.

Episode 11 RC	Match Your Family's Answer	Elaborate Trip	Lex (shared w/ Tom)	The family answered via videotape.  The trip was a plane ride, food, balloon trip, and an overnight stay in a bed.  And bourbon for Tom.
Episode 11 IC	Projectile Elimination	Immunity Necklace	Tom	Throwing sticks at clay pots.
Episode 12 RC	Word Game	Elaborate Trip, Car	Lex	The Survivors will have to look up, down, left, right, and even diagonally!  Or maybe they were all verticals and horizontals.  Either way, this is even worse than Tiddywinks and the Concentration challenges combined.  Anyway, Lex won the heinous Chevy Avalanche, which he took on a touching visit to a rural AIDS hospital.

Episode 13 IC	Fallen Comrades	Immunity Necklace	Kim J .	The outcome of this challenge is disputed, because the deciding question's answer was wrong, or rather incomplete: both Lex and Kim J's answers were technically right, but only Kim J. got credit.  If Lex had been credited as right, another tiebreaking question would have been necessary.
Episode 13 IC	Endurance	Immunity Necklace	Kim J.	"Hands on a Hard Idol" again.
