Monstah

It was Christmas Day, 2000, and I was pacing around in the backyard trying to think of what to give my dear friend Sara Scott (link will take you to her entry at my Friends page) for Christmas.  I admit, this may seem a tad late to be coming up with gifts, but those who know me will realize that it's just my way of doing things.   Anyway, I was really quite stumped until my mind flashed back on the still-in-progress Monster set up on my kitchen table.  Inspiration struck, and I spent a couple weeks putting together this belated-but-beloved little fellow, who now resides on top of Sara's TV (photo forthcoming).  He turned out really great, all cute and colorful, and I almost hated to give him away.

And here's a fun little shot I snapped of Monstah on top of the incomplete Monster, during the period in which they were desperately competing for space on the kitchen table (the rest of my family's dining needs notwithstanding).
